Galore – Swedish premiere
Galore has its Swedish premiere at BUFF: the International Children and Young People’s Film Festival in Malmö, Sweden today! Screening in competition on 11th and 13th of March. Director Rhys Graham will be in attendance, courtesy of the Festival.
The Turning TV broadcast, DVD release and more!
Arenamedia’s extraordinary feature film The Turning (for which Film Camp produced Small Mercies with Rhys Graham) will have it’s international premiere also at the Berlin International Film Festival on Sunday 9th February. Later in February the chapters will screen as a part of the White Night Festival in Melbourne on the night of Saturday 22nd; be broadcast on ABC TV on Sunday 23rd; then released on BluRay and DVD on the Monday 24th February! What an exciting month.

Galore – International Premiere at Berlinale 2014
Film Camp’s debut feature film Galore will have its international premiere at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in February 2014.
From writer and director Rhys Graham and producer Philippa Campey, Galore is a moving, lyrical drama about a group of reckless teenage friends and lovers set in Canberra’s suburban fringe.
The cast features some of Australia’s rising young stars including – Ashleigh Cummings (Puberty Blues, Tomorrow When The War Began), Lily Sullivan (Camp, Mental), Toby Wallace (Never Tear Us Apart, Return to Nim’s Island) and Aliki Matangi (Chris Lilley’s upcoming Jonah) - all who were lauded after Galore’s soldout Australian premiere at Melbourne International Film Festival in 2013.

Tim Winton’s The Turning – Q&A with Director and Producers of Small Mercies
Upcoming screenings of Tim Winton’s The Turning will feature a Q&A with the Small Mercies chapter writer & director Rhys Graham and producer Philippa Campey, alongside The Turning‘s producer Maggie Miles. Love & Fury – nominated for 2 awards
Early Works‘ documentary film Love & Fury, about the life and works of two remarkable Australians, Judith Wright and ‘Nugget’ Coombs, has just been nominated for the ATOM Awards and AWGIEs! Co-produced by Philippa Campey with John Hughes directing and producing, Love & Fury screened on ABC’s Artscape in 2012. Watch the trailer here.
Film Camp will be producing Small Mercies written and directed by Rhys Graham as a part of Arenamedia’s production of The Turning, a portmanteau feature film adaptation of Tim Winton’s best selling novel.
Jack Charles the star of Bastardy continues the success of his one-man show Jack Charles V’s The Crown produced by Ilbijerri Theatre and directed by Rachael Maza with shows at the Adelaide Cabaret Festival.
Rhys Graham’s debut feature film Galore has just secured all its production finance and will be shooting in Canberra in November 2012! Contracting and casting has begun!
