Based on five original short stories from the ABIA and Indie Award-winning short fiction collection Foreign Soil by Maxine Beneba Clarke, the screen series Foreign Soil is an intergenerational family saga set across Jamaica, England and Australia. The series follows the extended family of Mildred Lucas, born in Jamaica in 1934, and destined to become one of the first internationally significant Black Jamaican fashion designers.
